About the Role
The Billing Associate of the Billing & Collections Team will be responsible for performing the day-to-day responsibilities of the billing & collections team for their assigned territory, with the overarching objective of ensuring our members' invoices are financially accurate and paid in a timely manner. This is an entry level position, and does not have any direct reports. This candidate will report directly to the Lead of Billing & Collections - US & Canada.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Respond to and resolve all Member Support Requests within the defined Service Level Agreement (SLA), while providing financially accurate information and the highest quality member experience is provided

Perform outreach to members with an outstanding balance to reduce the Accounts Receivables (AR) and meet the monthly collection's goal

Provide a high-quality experience to both our members and our internal and external teams

Inform system support teams of any system features that are not working properly ("bugs")

Inform Billing Supervisors of opportunities for process improvement; Aptitude to challenge current processes, and communicate proposed solutions

Review and reconcile member accounts to ensure good financial standing and are prepared for payment processing

Escalate any disruptions from our standard operations, and inquiries from members or other WeWork teams

Possess the ability to thrive in a fast-growing startup environment, and must have willingness to pitch-in when asked to support other areas

Review various trackers provided by leadership in a timely fashion while adhering to adhoc project deadlines
Minimum Qualifications:

1-3 years of relevant work experience

Undergraduate Degree (in Business Management/Accounting/Finance related field is a plus)
Required Skills

Demonstrate ability to prioritize and manage critical situations

Proactive and reliable; driven to achieve team goals

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive Systems
