Citigroup Citi Commercial Bank - Corporate Finance AVP in New York, New York

The Corporate Finance AVP is a professional role that applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the success of the team. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area to coordinate and contribute to the objectives and functions of the business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking action involves weighing various alternatives and inputs. Requires good analytical skills to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from different sources.

Good communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within team, involved in coaching and training new team members. Often partners with relationship management team to support client outcomes. Work and performance of all teams in the area are affected by the performance of the individual.

Responsibilities:

  • Establishes and maintains relationships with Corporate Finance team and Relationship managers to support their ability to deepen relationships and pursue new clients aligned with value proposition.

  • Executes on strategic initiatives to support revenue generating activities and commercial sales.

  • Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi's policies / guidelines at all times.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 3-8 years of experience

  • Undergraduate business degree

  • Proven track record of supporting the growth of client relationships

Education:

  • Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience required

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$130,000.00 - $170,000.00
