Minimum qualifications:

  • 15 years of experience in Sales Operations, Consulting, Finance or Strategic/Corporate Planning.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced graduate degree in a management, technical or engineering field.

  • 12 years of experience at a leading consulting or finance firm or at a digital media or ad tech company.

  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills, including experience executing complex strategic and operational sales initiatives.

  • Excellent communication skills and experience building effective relationships with senior stakeholders and influencing personalities within a complex business environment.

As Director, you will be responsible for managing the Go-to-Market (GTM) team supporting the Americas Agency, Platforms, and Client Solutions (APCS) team, including coordinating the business and operational cadence for this business in the United States.

In this role, you will partner closely with executive sales leaders and cross-functional teams to execute on opportunities that will accelerate business generation growth and lead on-going improvements in the operations of the business. You will also create and lead Google’s Americas-wide growth initiatives around various regional and global programs to help foster and grow the agency channel, including partnering with Global Client and Agency Solutions (GCAS) on regional priorities and menu of services and offerings.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $261,000-$374,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Partner with executive sales leaders and cross-functional teams to develop quarterly and annual business plans.

  • Pilot and scale business growth opportunities across the business, and continuously improve sales team capabilities and effectiveness.

  • Concept, design, and deliver innovative programs and initiatives for the US agency business, as well as the Solutions and Thought Leadership teams.

  • Drive operational improvements, including optimizing resource allocation across sales teams, measuring progress against business goals, and facilitating sales leadership meetings.

  • Participate in and help steer global initiatives, and ensure that global initiatives are rolled out effectively to the Agency team.
