Description

Robert Half is hiring for a hands-on Business Analyst and Project Manager who will be instrumental in delivering technology solutions to our securities lending operations. This critical role serves as an application owner, ensuring the optimal performance and support of our securities lending systems.

Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in BA or development roles focused on equity and/or stock loan trading systems.

  • Proven background in the financial industry with a focus on Equities.

  • Knowledge of Securities Lending is beneficial.

  • Proficient in understanding business and product requirements and translating them into technical specifications.

  • Exceptional documentation, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Strong academic credentials with a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience with both Windows and Linux environments; ability to script in Excel.

  • Familiarity with automated testing tools.

  • Self-motivated with proven leadership capabilities to drive projects from start to finish.

  • Solid understanding of database modeling and ETL applications.

  • Skills to build ETL batches and manage data across various trading and back-office systems.

  • Excellent multitasking abilities with effective decision-making skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and support the deployment of securities lending solutions.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and develop functional specifications.

  • Analyze requirements to ensure solution integrity and that vendor offerings meet business needs.

  • Guide and lead developers in creating effective solutions.

  • Develop and test models and scenarios in conjunction with the stock loan team.

  • Ensure rigorous QA and testing of deployments.

  • Apply project management best practices to meet delivery timelines and quality standards.

  • Engage with various teams to ensure proper integration efforts for supported product lines.

  • Perform basic development tasks, including programming/scripting, to support solution modeling.

  • Provide troubleshooting support and system maintenance when needed.

  • Mentor and train junior team members and foster a collaborative team environment.
