The individual will be a member of the high growth Tax Solutions team, which is responsible for delivering and maintaining tax technology, managed services, and professional services. You will be working with both new and existing clients across the group mainly traditional and emerging financial markets participants, to drive new business for a range of operational tax regulations. As Relationship Manager, you are a critical part of the broader Tax Solutions team. This role will require collaboration with the global Sales, Commercial and Product teams and requires a candidate with a commercial and entrepreneurial mindset, strong communication skills, resilience, and excellent presentation skills.

The Team:

Tax Solutions solves complex tax compliance, due diligence, withholding and reporting issues in relation to global tax transparency initiatives for multinational and global financial services firms. We are a fast-growing team comprising tax subject matter experts, lawyers, and operational tax compliance specialists on a mission to enhance our clients’ ability to meet their own IRS and international tax compliance regulatory obligations while offering their customers best in class software solutions.

Responsibilities and Impact:

In partnership with the global sales, commercial and product teams, the candidate will be guided to establish a smooth client experience strategy to your remit. The role requires a commercial and entrepreneurial mindset, strong communication/presentation skills and resilience.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrate understanding of the S&P Tax Solutions suite of services and work collaboratively with Tax subject matter experts to position client solutions that solves customer’s tax related challenge(s)

  • Provide detailed demos across S&P Tax Solutions product suit and manage relationships pre and post implementation

  • Cultivate sector, product and technical expertise to be able to curate new business opportunities arising from tax driven regulatory changes and synergies with other business lines within Enterprise Solutions of S&P Global Market Intelligence

  • Assist the sales specialists with documentation for clients (proposals docs, technical specs, pricing)

  • Participate in team building and company growth activities including strategy setting, training, marketing efforts and customer satisfaction.

  • Travel, as necessary, to assist sales and business development team in the pursuit of opportunities and engagements.

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $190,000 to $250,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree minimum.  Graduate degree strongly preferred.

  • Candidates will have min of 6+ years of tax or accounting subject matter expertise within either assurance, operations, product, or technology.

  • Have the capability to work at the highest level within an organisation to develop new business and relationships.

Additional Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience working with financial services clients.

  • Experience working internally with multiple teams.
