New York University Lab Associate (Carew Lab) in New York, New York
We seek to fill a full-time position of lab associate in the Carew lab at the NYU Center for Neural Sciences.The lab associate will be involved in a new research project combining elements of neuroscience, cell biology, and information theory. A successful candidate must have experience with mammalian cell culture, mathematical modeling, information theory, and automated image processing. They must also have familiarity with scientific literature concerning the molecular biology of memory formation, and specifically molluscan model systems.
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $38,000- $50,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.
A bachelor of science degree in neuroscience, biology or a related field is required.
