As a Product Manager on the Machine Learning Experience (MLX) Product team, you will be part of th e Model Developmen t Team designing and delivering on the user experience. This team is focused on building a unified experience for building and training models for our thousands of users, which our customers and business rely on for an amazing banking experience. We are passionate about creating exceptional customer experiences.
In this role, you will represent the needs of the customer to inform the platform roadmap and ensure the capabilities being delivered are aligned with the intended business outcomes. You will be responsible for defining the roadmap and partnering with tech teams to deliver platform components. The ideal candidate for this role is passionate about technology and deeply empathizes with internal and external customer needs. They are comfortable in conversation with engineering teams as well as stakeholders ranging from data scientists to senior leaders.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop and communicate the product vision and strategy for key components of the platform.
Deep empathy to understand the needs of data scientists and engineers across Capital One.
Prioritize the Product Backlog to maximize business and customer outcomes.
Incorporate design thinking and analytics to inform product design for the user experience enabling thousands of users.
Enable collaboration and ensure communication between teams.
Maintain a healthy backlog of work and play a critical role in our agile ceremonies.
Support the team with escalation and resolution of impediments.
Serve as the connection between customers, Capital One’s mission, and your team.

You have expertise in, or are excited about, machine learning.

You have excellent oral and written communication skills.
You are highly collaborative and have the ability to influence and lead.
Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
At least 3 year of product management experience or at least 3 year of experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
MBA or Master’s degree
2+ years of experience in Agile product management
1+ years of experience in UX/UI design
