Whether you are looking to hone your craft or pick up new skills and specialties, The Falcon Group is a team to support your professional and personal growth.The RoleJob SummaryImmediate Opening in our NYC office for a Project Manager - Parking Garages with minimum 4 years’ experience in Parking Garage restoration, investigations and assessments of parking garage deficiencies, site condition assessment and construction document.Responsibilities and DutiesPrioritize and manage multiple projects within budget restrictions.Coordinate and manage internal kick-off, milestone, and closeout meetings for projects.Coordinate Draftsmen for projects.Verify schedules, ensure adherence to project plans and timelines to be met by internal and external resources.Collect post-project feedback to look for issues and opportunities for improvement.Represent clients in obtaining bids and awarding construction contracts.Proactively monitor work progress, schedule, and budget to ensure all targets are met.Create and review project status reports.Provide guidance and mentoring to Project Associates.Communicate status and issues with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal staff; resolve discrepancies and problems.Work closely with teams to understand the scope of work, budget, goals, deliverables, and timeline to ensure project success.Conduct on-site inspections and document existing conditions; perform field testing, photographic documentation, creation of hand/field sketches and observe & evaluate work in progress.Record field measurements and perform basic calculations.Organize field data to facilitate analysis and problem solving.Maintain organized records, files, drawings and other data essential to the project’s success and ensure they are complete and stored appropriately.Review construction plans.Preparation of written correspondence with clients, attorneys, contractors, etc.Prepare investigation reports and bid documents, including drawings and technical specifications.Preparation of Construction Cost Estimates.Knowledge of local, state, and other applicable municipal building codes and ability to apply to the subject work.Improve job knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing professional networks, and participating in professional societies.Perform other related duties as assigned.Estimated salary range for this position is $75,000.00 to $125,000.00.The salary listed is an estimate and not guaranteed. The salary offered will vary based on experience, education, skills, abilities, and certifications/license.QualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management in related fields. Work Experience4+ years’ experience required in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management or combination of education and experience.Licenses and CertificationsOSHA 30 hour certified preferred, otherwise must complete within three months from date of hire, fees covered by Company.SkillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects at one time.Ability to interact in a professional manner with clients and colleagues.Ability to attend client meetings and events, as needed.Ability to work overtime, as needed.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Ability to work individually or with team members and work collaboratively with other disciplines.Ability to work in the field and to travel outside local areas as workload and projects required.Ability to read construction drawings.Provide exceptional customer service.Ability to manage time and project budgets.Physical DemandsAbility to:Lift/ Carry up to 40 lbs.
