POSITION ANNOUNCEMENTResearch AssistantSalary Grade: 10Salary: $42,843 - $51,079Full-Time PositionThe Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc., (RFMH) is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time Research Assistant position who will contribute to the completion of cognitive behavioral and imaging studies in a variety of clinical populations, including adolescents and young adults, to be carried out in the NYC metropolitan area. Duties and Responsibilities:The Research Assistant will be responsible for carrying out imaging procedures and cognitive behavioral tasks, and will carry out data management, processing, and analysis. The research assistant will be responsible for collecting, entering, and organizing various types of data using both paper-based and computer-based tools. The Research Assistant will need to have superb interpersonal skills as this job requires frequent interaction with participants and patients with psychiatric disorder.Minimum Qualifications:-Must have a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent 4-year college certification) in psychology, neuroscience, or another related subject area. -1 year experience with cognitive or clinical research is required.
