Job Description Summary

The Senior Compensation Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, implementing, and administering compensation programs. This role involves modelling compensation and financial data, conducting market research, evaluating job positions, and ensuring the company's compensation practices are competitive and compliant with regulations.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and analysis to determine competitive compensation packages.
  • Design, generate, consolidate, and manipulate data from and to various systems in order to capture data and provide meaningful complex reports/summaries based on customer needs
  • Evaluate job positions by analyzing job descriptions and specifications.
  • Participate in salary surveys and analyze data to ensure competitive positioning.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of compensation policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and present reports on compensation trends and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR and management to develop and maintain job descriptions.
  • Provide support in the annual compensation review process.
  • Analyze and interpret compensation data to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Assist in the administration of incentive and bonus programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Math or related field.
  • Experience in data-modelling will be considered an asset.
  • 2-4 years of experience in compensation analysis or a related field, preferably in a consulting firm or similar.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools - PowerBI experience is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of compensation laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation or in progress is a plus.

Skills:

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in HRIS, preferably Workday and compensation software.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate's experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $97,750.00 - $115,000.00
