Our client is seeking a Transaction Monitoring Analyst to join their team.

Location: Midtown NYC (near GCT)- 3x week in office, 2 remote

Pay: $80-1

Language: must be able to read/write in Spanish- working with correspondent banking in LATAM

The BSA ANALYST shall perform and deliver the Project as set forth and subject to expectations.

The investigative work which the BSA ANALYST shall perform is AS FOLLOWS:

The BSA ANALYST should perform the assigned investigations “cases” which are deemed to bear indicia of suspicious financial activity as determined by internal procedures, following BSA/AML industry standards and best practices.

The Bank will provide all access to monitoring systems, LAN, World-Check and any other paid/subscription tool that are currently available in order to assist the BSA ANALYST during their investigative process.

The BSA-ANALYST shall utilize its own Personal Computer to perform his/her duties.

Work with be on remote basis. Instructions to access the systems will be provided after signing the contract agreement.

The BSA-ANALYST shall delivery all closed investigations in a timely matter, following expectations at minimum 4 closed cases per week.

We will compensate the BSA-ANALYST according to the paid rate, per each closed case, depending on the complexity on the case following the bellow grid:

a) Cases were no suspicious activity is found, and are straight forward, meaning no complex transactions, no multiple partiers (3) or more, no negative media news, including World Check, will be expected to be closed in 3-4 hours.

b) Cases were no suspicious activity is found, and bears certain type of complexity based on, either by multiple parties, negative news finding, complex structured transactions involving possible sanctioned OFAC countries, will be expected to be closed in 4-6 hours.

c) Cases were suspicious activity is found, will be expected to be closed and SAR written in 6-8 hours.

Important Note: The determination of complexity shall be agreed with the Chief Compliance Officer or Deputy Chief Compliance Officer, as needed.

The Analyst will be briefly trained/refresher prior to commence the work. The Branch will provide support whenever needed
