TITLE: Director, Software EngineeringLOCATION: 2 Gateway Center, Newark, NJ 07102DUTIES: Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software. Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. Work with requirements and specification documents to lead the software design and development of appropriate software solutions. Work with development team on existing extensive code base. Maintain consistent high-quality software code and ensure relevant coverage by unit tests and/or automated testing routines. Serve as a technical coach, ensuring team members can complete their role to the best of their ability. Collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders on a regular basis. Role holder is eligible for hybrid work schedule with manager approval and must reside within commuting distance from the work location.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Computer Applications, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field with 8 years of related industry experience. Experience to include C#, ASP.net, MVC, WCF, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Angular; functional knowledge and hands on experience with web services & server side programming; experience using MSSQLSERVER 2008/2016, SSIS and SSRS; experience in BPM/Workflow and ESB platforms; experience in Web security design; experience working in a financial industry; experience working in product architecture, solution design, and integration guidelines; experience managing project deliverables, ensuring timely completion and adherence to code quality standards; experience working with diverse technical teams; and experience working with Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
