Job Summary

Direct PSEG monthly Earnings Highlights forecast process for CFO and SET. Direct Enterprise, PSE&G and Nuclear Scorecard processes, including target setting and other performance related initiatives aligning with the Company’s strategic objectives, while driving process efficiency using continuous improvement tools such as automation.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly Earnings highlights process, coordinating with all areas of Finance changes to forecast, providing insights and remediation recommendations. Demonstrate knowledge of business drivers impacting financial statements, with highest of integrity.

• Lead and support Business Area leaders in development of business objectives, performance metrics, balanced scorecard development and business plans initiatives to improve business results. Identify and lead implementation of new tools/analytic approaches such as the automation of scorecard metrics.

• Support and facilitate Senior Leadership dialogue around the development of strategic and relevant performance metrics that will drive operational excellence throughout the organization. Lead discussions across Enterprise around alignment to scorecard and Critical Initiatives.

• Lead the discovery and audit processes to ensure impeccable data integrity throughout the establishing and recording actual results and reporting actual to benchmark and targeted plan results. Prepare and deliver written and verbal reports to senior management on a monthly basis and determine performance “arrows” during the year. Incorporate key initiatives and objectives that will be incorporated in the monthly report to the Board of Directors and support the monthly reporting requirements.

  • Manage and report on LTIP PSU targets and results for each grant period and Critical Initiatives

  • Coordinate with the HR Compensation team on all materials to the board regarding results and targets for scorecards, LTIP PSUs and Critical Initiatives

• Lead strategic reporting encompassing all objectives to SET and Board,

Job Specific Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business or other highly analytical field

• At least 10 years of experience in Business, Finance, or Consulting

• Demonstrated strong financial statement analysis competencies

• Demonstrated interpersonal and presentation skills (written and verbal) required for working cross-functionally with other leaders on sensitive issues

• Demonstrated project management skills and ability to work multiple projects simultaneously

• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and mentor others

• Developed skills in the areas of self-leadership, comfort with ambiguity, easily adaptable and able to influence change

• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and facilitate high performing teams
