Description We are offering a contract for a Payroll Clerk position in NEWARK, New Jersey. In this role, you will be a crucial member of our HR/Accounting team, focusing on payroll processing and related tasks in an office environment.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new team members, terminations, and changes to pay rates

• Using Accounting Software Systems and ADP Workforce Now for payroll operations

• Onboarding and providing training to new accounting team members

• Handling and maintaining confidentiality of team member information

• Ensuring Accounts Payable (AP) functions are carried out effectively

• Conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy in payroll processing

• Using Ceridian and Dayforce for managing payroll tasks

• Handling tasks related to About Time software for payroll functions

• Managing benefit functions related to payroll

• Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering team member payroll queries. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required for the effective execution of duties.

• Familiarity and hands-on experience with ADP - Financial Services is essential for this role.

• Applicants should be well-versed with ADP Workforce Now to ensure smooth operation.

• Knowledge and practical experience of Ceridian software is a significant requirement for this job.

• Candidates should have a working understanding of Dayforce for efficient task completion.

• Experience with About Time software is needed for this role.

• Understanding of Accounting Functions is necessary for the Payroll Clerk role.

• Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is a key requirement.

• Auditing skills are essential for ensuring accuracy in the role.

• Familiarity with Benefit Functions is required to effectively fulfill the responsibilities of this position.
