Group Summary
The Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group specializes in automotive technologies that are driving the future of mobility. About the Role
Responsible for the Planning, successful coordination and implementation of all Customer, Supplier and internal Engineering changes for Dortec Newmarket.
Your Responsibilities
· Plans and manages system and engineering changes on programs from NOC/Alert/EDR through to full implementation including all FSS suppliers.
· Ensures zero obsolescence at Dortec and suppliers and directs Customer Claims if obsolescence is necessary.
· Reviews all new BOM's loaded into CMS for accuracy
· Prepares and provides timelines regarding all EDR's alerts and ICN’S to support program implementation
· Responsible to monitor and report as required all activities with respect to open issues as well as change/project implementation status.
· Identify, analyze, and prepare any potential implementation risks to Management and cross-functional teams on program related issues.
· Directs all departments specifically, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Program management, BOM coordinators and Materials to adherence to the scheduled implementation timeline.
· Facilitates weekly communication meetings for all change processes and supplies Management updates to status.
· Creates and updates inventory tracking and implementation for new programs.
· Monitors and ensure Customer Deliverables are met.
· Monitors Customer and Supplier PPAP's are completed within Customer requirements.
· Determine and advise if any Customer Alerts are required.
· Performs all job functions abiding by the office/work standards (outlined in company handbook)
· Performs all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by all health, safety and environmental rules and regulations, promoting safety in the workplace (outlined in company handbook)
· Perform other duties as required
Who we are looking for
· Completion of high school or equivalent.
· 1 to less than 3 years of work-related experience.
· Related manufacturing/industry experience
· Working overtime complete projects by set deadline
· Working independently
· Directing attention to multiple demands
· Handling high volume of work
· Domestic travel
