Group Exercise Instructor
As a Fitness Professional, the Group Exercise Instructor will teach, lead, and motivate individuals through group exercise classes. This position includes an hourly rate as well as commissions
Duties and Responsibilities
• Deliver predesigned workouts to groups of 4 -12 clients • Energize and motivate members throughout the sessions • Ensure safety of members in regards to heart rate and exercise technique • Provide options and challenges for specific exercises to accommodate various skill levels • Meet or exceed performance clients expectations • Flexible to work day, evening, holidays and/or weekend hours as needed • Other duties that may be assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Have a strong knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
Ability to multi-task and stay organized
Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills
Desire and capacity to train all fitness levels
Must hold current fitness certification from a company such as ACSM, ACE, NASM, NCSA, AFFA, or NFPT
CPR/AED certification
Must be able to safely lift and move up to 40lbs
