WSO (Wall Street Office) product is the industry leader in leveraged loan and high-yield solutions providing comprehensive products and services for portfolio management, servicing, reporting, and analysis. Our portfolio management solution gives immediate access to real-time reference and transactional data on various asset classes. Its functionality is tailored to handle the unique behavior of bank loans and compliance reporting required for complex structures.

The Role:

S&P Global is looking for a strong QA Automation engineer to join WSO team (within Software Solutions) who will ensure that the quality of our deliverable meets and exceeds the expectations of all stakeholders and implements the established quality standards and processes. This position is a hands-on test build /execution role. It is a highly technical position and will require strong knowledge of automation and more specifically testing of microservices based architectures. The individual should have a practical experience of working in an agile team

 Proven experience in designing and implementing automation test frameworks especially for a microservice based architecture.

 Experience in testing container-based systems will be a plus

 Technologies: C# .NET, .NET Core, PowerShell, Python, REST, GIT

 Automation: Practical experience with service layer testing including but not limited to Rest APIs, XML, JSON in creating a layered system.

 Automation: Knowledge of javascript framework such as nodeJS, typescript. Selenium, WebdriverIO/Cypress/Appvance, SpecFlow etc

 Services: Strong exposure to Azure DevOps, Amazon Web Services(AWS)

 Tools: Postman, Visual Studio, VSCode, PowerBI, Microsoft Windows

 Excellent programming skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

Technical

 Work directly with QA and Development partners to design and implement automated test solutions

 Experienced in .Net based Automation framework using C#

 Must have experience in implementing automation solutions within an Agile development lifecycle.

 Knowledge and experience of financial markets

 Demonstrated ability to work in a globally distributed software development team.

 Exhibits excellent technical troubleshooting ability

 Contributes and adheres to QA best practices

 Displays experience with source control, sprint task management, and deployment tools

Education and experience

 A graduate / post graduate

 Fluent in English, spoken and written

 Strong technical background to design and implement automated test solutions

Management requirements

 Able to provide regular progress and status updates on your development tasks to your manager and peers

 Manage and track progress of ongoing items you depend on

 Willingness to be flexible and adapt to project priorities and processes and ability to meet deadlines.

 Work closely with development and project team members globally to deliver high quality solutions to aggressive time frames.
