STAFF ACCOUNTANT - ACQUISITIONS ORIENTED COMPANY IN NORCROSS

Robert Half has an opportunity for you to become a critical part of an innovative company, as a full-time Staff Accountant. This position will challenge your skills as your juggle multiple components. You will succeed in this Staff Accountant position if you can prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation. The ideal candidate for this position can perform internal reporting during the monthly close, participate in compliance, interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules reporting processes. What you get to do every day:

• Manage reconciliation, depreciation, and fixed asset ledgers

• Become well-versed in month end balance sheet account reconciliations

• Partake in various department-wide initiatives

• Compose journal entries and conduct the month end close with minimal supervision

• Periodically maintain and reconcile journal entries

• Manage intercompany reconciliation, billings, and transactions

• Produce analyses for monthly balance sheets and income statements for reporting by management

• Special projects and impromptu reporting, upon request

• Prepare monthly financial close workbooks to support the month end, quarter end and year end closing process

• Produce complex journal entries and account reconciliations which include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll

• Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls while ensuring that accounting procedures comply with GAAP

• Manage schedules for capital lease and monthly payments

• Organize and review various financial data, then report it in a manner that is useful and understandable

  Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics required

• Recent and relevant accounting experience

• Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines

• Mature organizational, written and verbal communication skills

• Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities

• Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus

• Excellent attention to detail

• Microsoft Dynamics SL experience highly preferred

• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel
