Boeing South Carolina is currently seeking a Programmer / Analyst who is challenge driven and enjoys a fast-paced, exciting environment! At Boeing, software is an enabler to our mission to connect, protect, explore and inspire the world through aerospace innovation.
This position will be primarily working on an Enterprise Factory Mobility application that is customer facing, as well as an Enterprise Factory Safety application. This position is one of very few teams that have the ability to work with factory automation applications like these.
This is a hybrid position that allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Position Responsibilities:
Provides assistance to design, program and execute test plans
Implements, documents and maintains routine computing applications and software
Assists in gathering and evaluating end user requirements
Writes and compiles routine code and constructs routine database objects based on documented design
Modifies or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality
Documents, validates and researches reported problems
Participates in meetings with end users to learn the user's processes and to assist in gathering and documenting requirements for software applications
Develops software solutions to meet design specifications utilizing standard methodologies and tools. Performs testing to validate software meets design specifications
Supports the integration process for Boeing software solutions to meet end user's requirements, utilizing standard methodologies and tools
Develops and executes test plans and procedures to verify that the solution meets the requirements
Identifies and dispositions defects as required
Assists in validating discrepancies and issues
Assists in the development and execution of implementation plans
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §
120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Object Oriented Programming
Ability to execute queries and stored procedures on SQL server
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
C#
Mobile App Development (specifically UWP)
Service Oriented Architecture
Software Testing
Agile
XAML
Basic knowledge of RDBMS- preferably SQL server
Basic knowledge to execute CRUD operations on database
Basic understanding of primary key, foreign key etc.
Typical Education/ Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).
Relocation:
This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Salary: $77,000 - $110,000
