Job Description

This Manager, HR Technology and Strategy role will lead our HR technology and artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives and drive innovation within our organization. The Manager role will be responsible for developing and implementing technology. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of HR and AI technologies, excellent leadership qualities, and a proven track record of successfully implementing HR technology and AI solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the HR organization's technology and strategy, in alignment with business goals and objectives.

  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to ensure successful project execution for all involved.

  • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and platforms to determine their applicability to the organization's needs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology opportunities, define project scopes, and establish project timelines and budgets.

  • Drive the development and deployment of solutions to solve complex business problems.

  • Ensure compliance with ethical and legal guidelines in all technology deployments, including data privacy and security considerations.

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of applications and systems, ensuring continuous improvement and optimization.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in HR technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and proactively recommend innovative solutions to enhance business processes.

  • Ability to self-learn and foster a culture of innovation and learning within the AI team, encouraging the sharing of knowledge and ideas.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide related training, support, and education to enhance their understanding and adoption of HR technologies.

  • Significant Work Activities -Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day)

Qualifications

Qualifications/Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or related field required.

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in leading projects and managing technology initiatives or teams, preferably in a corporate setting.

  • Strong knowledge of HR technology, including Workday, Salesforce, ServiceNow, machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and related frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).

  • Preferred proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI development, such as Python or R.

  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms (e.g., Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform).

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions.

  • Strong leadership and project management abilities, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

  • Solid understanding of ethical considerations and legal frameworks related to technology deployments.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to stay updated with the latest AI advancements through continuous learning and engagement with the AI community.

  • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
