In this exciting role as a Sr. Systems Engineer, you will have the responsibility for definition, integration, and validation of a system of systems.

A Day in The Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Responsible for functional analyses, detailed trade studies and trade-offs to supplement product design decisions, requirements allocations at system and subsystem level, and interface definition to translate stakeholder requirements into product specifications.

  • Performs technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation, evaluates alternatives including cost and risk, supportability, and analyses for product and system.

  • Analyses are performed at all levels of product and system to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.

  • Identification of test methodology and authorization of test procedures to ensure system verification and design validation.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of experience,

  • Or advanced degree with 2 years of experience

Nice to Have

  • Demonstrated proficiency in requirements generation, flow down, allocation and management

  • Experience in applying system engineering processes methods in the concept, development, and test life cycle phases

  • Experience in applying regulatory standards to products (IEC 60601, 14971, 62366, 62304, ISO 13485 or aerospace equivalents)

  • Experience in Agile-scrum development within a regulated industry

  • Experience in design for reliability, manufacturability, and security

  • Experience in the medical device industry and/or surgical techniques.

  • Ability to provide creativity while solving complex problems without known solutions

  • Ability to quickly prototype new concepts and ideas

The provided base salary range is used nationally (except in certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
