Your Opportunity

As the pivotal support for our HR team, you’ll help administer the HR functions across our retail opertations at EssilorLuxottica. You will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners and have exposure to a wide range of HR operational support and administrative services. This role will also have exposure to our finance team and will assist with the coordination of invoices, purchase order numbers and tracking our external agency expenditure. This is a great entry level role or suitable for someone who has experience within reception, administration and is looking to grow and further their career within Human Resources.

Requirements for Success

  • Respond to HR enquiries, referring matter to the appropriate HR team member when necessary

  • Assist in the preparation of HR documentation and correspondence as required

  • Input and update employee data in the HRIS

  • Maintain electronic and hard copy employee records and filing of documentation

  • Contribute to developing a culturally safe workplace

  • Participate in organisation-wide, site based and team meetings, collaborative planning activities and other meetings or activities relevant

  • Maintenance of employee records within the payroll system

  • Assist in the creation of PO’s & GR activities for the HR team.

  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of systems and processes ensuring services meet professional and industry standards

Skills & Experience

  • Previous HR Administration or Payroll experience

  • Able to work autonomously to meet deadlines

  • High attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  • Intermediate MS Word and Excel skills

  • Strong organisation skills and time management

  • Ability to interact with staff members on various levels and maintain confidentiality
