TEKsystems Level 1 Support Specialist in Northbrook, Illinois

Description:

This persons only responsibility will be grabbing tickets. This is due to an influx in tickets coming over the next few months.

Help desk tickets, walk ups, desk side support. 5 days per week in Northbrook. Should be close to Northbrook so their commute is not a pain.

The tech support personnel should be able to provide password reset instructions and assist with multi-factor authentication setup.

The resolution rate for level one tickets is not defined, but the previous employee had a high closure rate.

The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of experience and be patient and able to work with different types of people.

The top two technologies the candidate should be familiar with are Office 365 and hardware troubleshooting.

The candidate should have good communication skills, be open to learning, and have a strong follow-up and follow-through.

Candidates coming from smaller companies with multiple responsibilities or large enterprise environments with defined roles are both acceptable.

Mobile devices in the company include both company-owned and personally-enabled phones, with a mix of iOS and BYOD.
