Position: Fleet Manager - UK

Job Overview: We're seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to spearhead the strategic management of our vehicle fleet in the UK. With a fleet of approximately 450 vehicles, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence and alignment with our mission to #letssolvewater. Reporting directly to the Operations Director UK&I, you'll provide strategic counsel to senior leadership while ensuring the availability of appropriate vehicles to our teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive fleet strategy, assessing vehicle performance, costs, and suitability to meet current and future business needs.

  • Implement robust data tracking practices, including mileage, repair requests, fuel management, and maintenance rates, to optimize fleet operations.

  • Drive cost and data analysis initiatives to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and carbon footprint reduction.

  • Oversee the development and administration of the Fleet annual budget, monitoring expenditures and implementing adjustments as needed.

  • Provide insightful management reporting on vehicle and equipment costs, as well as usage patterns.

Requirements:

  • Membership of a relevant professional body.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of statutory requirements related to vehicle fleet operations.

  • Recognized qualification in vehicle or transport engineering (highly desirable).
