Treasury and Financial Analyst

Position Overview:

Our client's Corporate FP& A/Treasury team seeks a dynamic Treasury and Financial Analyst to bolster our financial decision-making processes. This pivotal role involves providing insightful financial analysis to senior leadership, shaping strategic directions across the finance spectrum. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, possesses robust financial analysis skills, and demonstrates agility in interpreting data trends. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role collaborates with domestic and international stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive financial and statistical analyses, focusing on: Sales and EBITDA

  • Cash flow

  • Efficiency, quality, and safety KPIs

  • Debt and interest metrics

  • Contribute to corporate planning, budgeting, and forecasting efforts, supporting vital areas such as Revenue and COGS.

  • Aid in generating consolidated monthly reports for the Finance Organization, C-level executives, and the Board of Directors.

  • Validate data and rank internal plant performance across 80+ manufacturing/distribution sites.

  • Coordinate and prepare department budgets and financial forecasts at the corporate level.

  • Enhance historical data maintenance and streamline reporting consistency.

  • Collaborate with treasury management to optimize global banking relationships, analyzing fee structures and services.

  • Serve as a liaison with business units to establish new banking accounts, services, and handle related inquiries.

  • Ensure SOX compliance related to Treasury functions.

  • Prepare regular reports, improve related processes, and refine working methods regarding Global Cash and liquidity management.

  • Monitor and analyze daily cash positions, coordinate short-term borrowing or investments, and support daily cash management duties for leadership.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Education Level: Bachelor's or Master’s degree

  • Education Program/Area of Study: Finance or Accounting

  • Professional Certifications: N/A

  • Languages Required: English

Experience:

  • Preferred 3 years’ experience in an analytic business role or equivalent Strategic Finance functions.

  • Familiarity with the banking industry and technical knowledge of bank products.
