What’s the role?

Medium Rare Content Agency (MRCA) is seeking a Head of Partnerships & Operations looking to work in the Commercial Content & Marketing Space, joining the Coles Content team .

Reporting to the Medium Rare Head of Client Partnerships, Client Head of Partnerships and Operations is the key client contact for all communication pertaining to the Coles contract with Medium Rare.

The role is responsible for ensuring all briefs are communicated and allocated, budgets are aligned and reconciled, processes are followed and updated as required and commercial relationships are managed. The Head of Partnerships and Operations is the key liaison between the Medium Rare production, strategy, commercial and broader leadership teams, as well as the broader stakeholder groups within Coles and its subsidiaries/ group of companies/ brands.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the agency partnership owner between Medium Rare and Coles, and facilitates relationships with other agency partners and third parties

  • Manages senior level comms and brief delivery for campaigns and task focused client asks

  • Ensures all key stakeholders are informed and included where required

  • Leads stakeholder engagement to deliver commercial needs

  • Influences innovation to support client aspiration

  • Manages baseline scope and works with the senior team to identify growth opportunities

  • Builds and fosters relationships across the Medium Rare business in order to give the highest level of client service

  • Key point of escalation for Client and its stakeholders

  • Responsible for working closely with all other team members to ensure overall smooth running of the business and satisfaction of client

  • Fosters high level working relationships with all internal and external teams to ensure best outcomes

  • Responsible for the Client’s content budget; budgeting, forecasting and reconciliation

  • Acts as the first point of senior contact between the commercial team, head of strategy and editorial stakeholders

  • Identifies opportunities for new commercial product development based on deep category understanding and business priorities

  • Works closely with the strategy, technical and creative teams to ensure that cross platform advertising packages are developed, costed, served and measured to advertiser expectations and are profitable for the agency

  • Timely invoicing of all elements of budget, drives issue resolution and timely escalation to senior managers if required

  • Timely reconciliation of costs

  • Accurate quoting and scope management

  • Set and drive all processes and tech usage for the extended Client team

  • Actively look for ways to improve process to optimise efficiency and efficacy

  • Oversight of projects from ideation to execution

  • Actively participating in post-implementation retrospectives, and being accountable for subsequent process improvements

  • Providing market and product feedback to all key stakeholders

  • Provides inspiring and accountable leadership for the account service team.

  • Supports growth and learning to ensure Client is getting world class account service.
