You will deliver innovative solutions combining the portfolio elements of Grid Software to help grid operators decode and shape the future of their power landscape and the support their digital transformation.

  • In this context, your team is responsible for optimally installing and configuring the Spectrum Power grid control platform. This includes integration into the customer's environment as well as integration into the customer-specific cyber security concept.

  • You and your team are responsible for planning and operating virtualized server farms and the entire project rooms infrastructure for factory acceptance tests at the Nuremberg location.

  • As a dynamic leader, you are responsible in an international global context for reducing effort through standardization and automation to achieve our sales and profitability goals.

  • You will manage an allocated budget to maintain infrastructure, drive innovation and effectively implement process improvements.

  • Employ, lead, mentor and develop up to 20 employees including temporary staff (contractors, students)

  • Balance out team skills and workload between satisfying workload and spontaneous availability in case of emergency

  • You are informed about the latest hard- software trends, run contacts to bid management as well as to purchasing department and evaluate latest hard- and software in terms of Product-compatibility, performance, and sizing.

What you need to make real what matters.

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in software/systems engineering, computer science, information technology, electrical engineering or comparable education.

  • More than 10 years of experience in providing solutions and successful execution under your responsibility.

  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in program/project management.

  • Knowledge of agile software/system engineering methodology, technologies to keep large distributed systems synchronized and up-to-date and the DevOps process.

  • Technological knowledge in scripting with Python, virtualization of solutions, cloud deployment.

  • Highly motivated and driven professional with strong leadership skills, business and customer orientation, ambitious approach, and can-do attitude.

  • Able to present complex technical topics in a clear and structured manner and to moderate discussions, meetings and projects with both senior management and cooperation partners.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a growing, dynamic, and international leadership team.

  • Ability to derive suggestions for further action based on customer needs and project status with detailed, realistic cost estimates for technical implementation.

  • Full execution of projects from conception to implementation, early consideration of the impact of design decisions and ultimately delivery of solutions according to planned costs, time, and quality.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills in German and English.
