Job Title: A&P Mechanic

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an A&P Mechanic, where you will perform routine and non-routine maintenance on Citation jets. Your responsibilities will include inspections, repairs, modifications, troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical discrepancies, and conducting pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure all aircraft are airworthy and compliant. You'll maintain detailed records in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies, collaborate with maintenance team members for efficient task completion, and respond to aircraft on ground (AOG) situations. You will also stay updated on the latest maintenance techniques and FAA regulations.

Hard Skills

  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license

  • Experience in aircraft maintenance

  • Proficiency in technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics

  • Knowledge of FAA regulations and industry standards

Soft Skills

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and in teams

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Good communication skills

  • Flexible in working hours including weekends and on-call situations

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Oakland, California.

Work Environment

Work primarily occurs in the hangar located in Oakland, with minimal travel required to nearby locations including Hayward, San Jose, and San Francisco. The team maintains approximately 12 aircraft, ensuring a dynamic and engaging work environment.

SHIFT:

7am - 4pm; The shift will be 7 on and 7 off. Meaning, you will work 7 days straight, 56 hours for the week. You will receive overtime and double time. You'll have the following week off.
