Responsibilities

• Take preventive action to safeguard the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

• Coordinate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

• Watch and trial application performance for potential bottlenecks, recognize possible solutions, and function with developers to carry out those fixes

• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks

• Be a part of the development of design of information and operational support systems

• Test, maintain, install, and configure system management tools, operating systems, and application software

• Stand by for 2nd and 3rd level support

• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure

• Sustain backup, redundancy strategies, and security Requirements - You might be a good fit for this position if you have solid scripting skills

  • You might be a good fit for this position if you have proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting various operating systems

  • We are particularly looking for candidates with solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks

  • We are particularly looking for candidates who have experience with monitoring systems

  • You might be a good fit for this position if you have experience with virtualization and containerization

  • It is preferred for applicants to have experience with automation software

• 5+ years of relevant experience- Demonstrated knowledge of TCP/IP

• Adeptness in Python

• General familiarity with Switching Protocols

• Bash experience highly desired

• PowerShell experience

• Virtualization experience preferred

• Deep understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS)

• Solid understanding of SAAS

• Practical knowledge of IP Routing Protocols
