Description We are searching for a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in the Wood & Furniture Manufacturing industry, located in Ocala, Florida. This role involves managing transactions, producing financial reports and overseeing corporate insurance policies, amongst other duties. This is a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and processed

• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports to provide a clear picture of the company's financial status

• Oversee and manage general corporate insurance policies and renewals to ensure the company is adequately protected

• Coordinate payroll activities with our payroll company to ensure all staff are paid accurately and on time

• Administer all employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, and life insurance

• Handle banking tasks, including bank reconciliations, to ensure financial records are up-to-date and accurate

• Process sales orders, purchase orders, and order acknowledgments accurately and in a timely manner

• Utilize accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel to streamline and automate accounting functions

• Conduct regular reviews of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to identify and address any issues

• Perform inventory accounting tasks to ensure accurate tracking and valuation of company assets. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory

• Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel are required

• Ability to handle all Accounting Functions with accuracy and efficiency

• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations is necessary

• Familiarity with the management of Purchase Orders

• Expertise in Inventory Accounting within the Wood & Furniture Manufacturing industry is highly desirable
