This role is part of the Seller Compliance Enablement Vertical, which aims to empower our Selling Partners to offer a diverse range of safe and compliant products. We strive to make compliance a transparent, user-friendly, and seamless experience for our Selling Partners by sourcing compliance information on their behalf, establishing a one-stop compliance experience leveraging AI-guided real-time education, and providing integrated support services to help Selling Partners validate product compliance.

Required Skills

The ability to make high judgement, effective and high velocity decisions is crucial. Candidates must excel in communicating complex technical and operational issues in clear business language and you must be comfortable performing in a highly collaborative environment and working with your peers to accomplish the objectives of the organization

Key job responsibilities

  • Manage a global team of risk managers and content editors.

  • Accountable for establishing the vision, strategy, and implementation of all pivotal outcomes for the selling partner experience team

  • Define, implement, manage and execute program objectives, including the tracking of metrics and key performance indicators to evaluate program efficacy and drive ongoing improvements

  • Collaborate with diverse cross-functional teams to evaluate existing controls and influence technology and science teams in developing scalable seller experience tools and workflows.

  • Regularly communicate with senior leadership on progress to goals, alignment with deliverables and seek support where necessary

Basic Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher

  • Over 10 years of leadership and people management experience in a dynamic operational setting

  • Proficiency in Program/Project management

  • Demonstrated involvement in developing and contributing to strategic planning processes

  • Proficient capability to gather and analyze data to inform business strategies and decisions

  • Effective coaching and leadership skills that enhance team performance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS, etc.)

  • Proficiency in oral and written communication, along with the ability to define technical requirements and prioritize tasks

  • Capability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to a dynamic work environment and fast-paced workflow

  • Proven track record of meticulous attention to detail, self-motivation, and follow-through

  • Sound business acumen, demonstrated influence, and robust analytical reasoning are vital for success in this role

  • Experience with extensive e-commerce platforms encompassing intricate business processes

  • Proficiency in 6 Sigma and Lean Manufacturing methodologies aimed at reducing waste, preventing defects, and optimizing processes

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $126,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $236,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
