- Teaches course(s) as outlined in the syllabus and catalog. Assigned teachingresponsibilities may include face-to-face teaching on the various WSU campuses,Cooperative Campus sites,and online formatted courses.2. Creates and maintains courses in the WSU learning management system.3. Plans and implements relevant learning strategies and instructional materials that alignwith course outcomes.4. Evaluates teaching materials and methods for currency and relevancy and suggestsrevisions to course chairs or program director.5. Evaluates student performance in a systematic and objective manner.6. Maintains student records in the learning management system.7. Inputs students final grades in the WSU Banner system.8. Assesses teaching effectiveness using the results from student evaluations.9. Maintains posted office hours and is available to students.10. Serves as an exemplary role model for students.11. Assists students in acquiring professional knowledge,behaviors,and attitudes.12. Maintains a working knowledge of the following applications: word processing,presentation technology,internet search,current learning management system,andelectronic mail.13. Other duties to support instruction,as assigned.
