Weber State University seeks a Full-Time Instructor to help build an ESL Program and teach in that program. Possibility for conversion to Tenure Track pending qualifications,budget and need.Weber State University is dedicated to becoming a federally-designated emerging Hispanic-Serving Institution (eHSI) by 2025,and is also in the process of developing and implementing the Building Puentes Program (an innovative initiative designed to offer stackable bilingual credentials in Spanish and English).Additionally,the number of international students and multilingual learners at Weber State University has increased significantly,rising by 179% over the past four years.To support our multilingual student population the Department of World Languages & Cultures is building an ESL program and is hiring a Full-Time Instructor to lead these efforts.
