Providence St. Joseph Health Facilities Engineer in Olympia, Washington
Description Facilities Engineer - Providence St. Peter Hospital - Olympia, WA SCHEDULE: Full-Time position; working 7 days on, 7 days off. Swing/Second shift. Monitors, operates, maintains and improves physical plant systems and equipment to ensure reliable, efficient, safe, clean and comfortable facility operation in support of patient care. These systems include; heating, ventilating and air conditioning, steam and hot water generation, power generation, pumping, controls, transportation systems (elevators, pneumatic tube), medical and compressed gases, electrical and life safety, fuel and water treatment. Documents energy efficiency, ongoing system operating parameters, incidents and specific maintenance and repair activities - all in accordance with policies and/or applicable standards. Provides monthly improvement report to Department Director. Reports to the Director of Facility and Technology Services. Required Qualifications: Coursework/Training: Additional vocational training.
