Express Employment Senior Commercial Cabinetry Estimator/Project Manager in Olympia, Washington
Express is now hiring for a Senior Estimator/Project Manager at a commercial cabinet manufacturer based out of Tumwater, WA. This is a permanent opportunity. The schedule will be Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM. The compensation for this position will start at $75,000-$100,000/yr DOE. This company offers a benefits package to include Medical/Dental/Vision, paid vacation, paid holidays, and a 401(k) retirement plan with company match up to 4%.
Job Duties:
- Analyze Architectural plans and specifications to determine scope of work
- Prepare bid-estimate by performing "take-off" using our custom estimating software
- Communicate with vendors and/or suppliers to source materials
- Communicate with Contractor's and Architect's, developing client relationships
- Meet deadlines with minimal supervision or prompting
Make sales-calls, following-up on bid-estimates and acquiring bid-tabulation-results
Job Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years commercial cabinetry estimating experience, *firm. *10 years+ experience highly desired
- Extremely strong at attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent math, computer and analytical skills with solid grasp of units-of-measure
- Proficient in the use of Outlook, Word and Excel
- Highly-motivated and well-organized
- Creative problem solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple estimates at the same time (multitasking is critical as you will typically be preparing bids for up to 10-projects per week)
- Comfortable with reading and interpreting Architectural plans
Project Management skills are a plus, not required
