Description

We are in search of a Human Resources Manager to join our clients team in Omaha, Nebraska. In this role, you will be tasked with managing all HR-related activities and aligning them with their business objectives. This includes overseeing recruitment, employee relations, compliance, performance management, training, and development initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire recruitment cycle for the distribution center, which entails creating job postings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires.

• Serve as the primary contact for employee inquiries and concerns, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.

• Address employee issues promptly, which might include disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance improvement plans.

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

• Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures, and ensure they are communicated to all employees.

• Oversee the performance appraisal process, including setting timelines, training managers, and ensuring fair evaluations.

• Collaborate with department heads to develop performance improvement plans and track progress.

• Identify training needs and coordinate development programs for employees.

• Partner with other managers to ensure timely payroll processing and assist employees with benefits programs.

• Develop succession planning strategies to ensure a strong pipeline of talent within the distribution center.

• Promote a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing safety policies and practices.

• Address any workplace injuries or incidents, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.

• Promote career development and growth opportunities for employees.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred

• Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus

• Manufacturing experience highly preferred

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Human Resources role

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Knowledge and understanding of Compliance requirements in HR

• Experience in Employee Relations and Hiring Processes

• Proven track record in Human Resources (HR) Administration

• Ability to develop and implement Policies & Procedures

• Familiarity with Recruiting and Corporate Recruiting processes

• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity

• Ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders

• Strong problem-solving abilities

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality

• Proven leadership and management skills.
