Conagra Procurement Specialist in Omaha, Nebraska

Reporting to the Director of Procurement you will build and execute category strategy for assigned materials or services in accordance with approved buying programs using the established procurement policy at a competitive price ensuring the needs of internal customers are met.

Position Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of market dynamics, cost drivers and logistics.

  • Develop an understanding of company facilities and requirements, capabilities, processes, and constraints.

  • Build relationships with multiple cross-functional teams

  • Support business process improvements and documentation

  • Develop an understanding of SAP MRP processes and data

  • Run multiple reports on a scheduled basis and provide supporting analytics

  • Manage procurement master data in SAP and Right Angle to help guide process efficiencies.

  • Enter contracts and orders into SAP based on category strategy

  • Provide research and analytical support for different issues and ad hoc projects

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 2+ years in Procurement or a related field

  • Excel - Intermediate level

  • Continuous Improvement mindset and methodology

  • In the office 3 days per week, Tuesday - Thursday

  • At this time, we require applicants for this role to be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship either now or in the future

  • Minimal travel required
