Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team. Our company, with regional headquarters in Omaha, NE, operates two manufacturing facilities. The Omaha plant focuses on the manufacture of large spring reels, motorized reels, slip rings and large festoon systems for assembly lines. Our Harlan, IA plant builds and warehouses conductor bar, C-track festoons, small spring reels, push button pendants, and radio remote controls. As a Welder, you will be expected to perform various fit-up, tack welding, and final welding operations on a variety of electrical and structural, sub and final assemblies. You will be using tools such as clamps, bolts, jigs, vice grips, welding fixtures, arc welder, spot welder, and cutting torch. Your working hours will be the 1st shift, from 7:30am - 4pm, with potential weekend involvement based on production needs.

Hard Skills

• Mig/Tig welding experience

• 3 -5 years experience or associates or certification

• Stainless/aluminum experience

• Ability to read blueprints

• Possession of valid welding certification for stainless steel, aluminum, and steel-in-flat - 3 G position (Heli Arc, Tig, gas-shielded and stick welding is a plus)

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Omaha, Nebraska.

Work Environment

Our work environment is reminiscent of a machine shop. Please be aware that you will be exposed to fumes and a significant amount of noise.
