Description:

Aerospace machine shop looking for a day shift (4/10 schedule Mon-Thurs) CNC lathe setup machinist. Ideally looking for someone with lead/supervisor experience to help with training of new machinist. Pay will be based on experience and determined during the interview process. Typically $35-$45 an hour but can go higher for more experience.

Candidates need to have experience with set up, operating and full cycle inspection. Mastercam programming experience is a plus.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience setting up Lathe Machines

• Must be able to effectively install tooling, set-up unsupervised within the required set-up and run times for each operation

• Capable of changing tools and editing programs for increased efficiency

• Capable of using appropriate measuring tools and equipment

• Capable of choosing appropriate cutting tools, machine fixture clamps and soft jaws

• Must be able to read, interpret and work from engineering prints, drawings and sketches

• Must be able to inspect and be responsible for the quality of your own work
