Lockheed Martin Electro-Mechanical Engineering Intern - Grad Student - Orlando, FL in Orlando, Florida

Description: Lockheed Martin MFC is seeking an Advanced Packaging Engineer intern for a position in Orlando, FL

in support of 2D - 3D Heterogenous packaging concepts of advanced electronics. Responsibilities

include, but are not limited to design and test of advanced electronic design solutions utilizing Thin

Films, semiconductor manufacturing processes, and advanced thermal management techniques. The

intern will have opportunity to apply current graduate level coursework directly to modern

semiconductor design mediums. Additionally the position provides the opportunity to work with

multiple disciplines related to product design, electrical, systems, and test engineering. An unique

opportunity to get direct experience on new emerging technologies as they develop into product.

Basic Qualifications:

• Possess a Bachelor of Science degree in related Engineering or similar field

• Currently enrolled in Graduate Level studies pursuing Masters of Science or PhD in Microelectronics Advanced Packaging fields, i.e.:

o Semiconductor manufacturing

o Microelectronic circuits and systems

o Heterogeneous integration

o Semiconductor devices

• US Citizenship

Desired Skills:

• Exposure to Thin Film Technologies

• Exposure to advanced materials and structures

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
