A Snapshot of Your Day

As Global Head of Project Engineering Management you will lead the Team of Project Engineering Managers in charge of bids for power plants. In projects your team members have full ownership of all Engineering disciplines comprising of e.g. thermal, process, mechanical, civil, plant layout, electrical, controls & instrumentation etc. during the bid phase.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Coordinate Team members and project tasks as well as managing engineering interfaces with Clients and internal stakeholder

• Responsibility for engineering scope of the bid and customer satisfaction of the projects assigned

• Ensure that the deliverables and services are highly valuable

• Personnel management like capacity management, hiring, personal growth dialog, competency management and salary review

• Leading by example, supporting with information and communication to maintain a smooth working process with internal and external partners

What You Bring

• Master or bachelor's degree, preferable within the field of electrical, mechanical, structural, automation or process engineering or equivalent combination of education

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in related field of engineering including project execution

• Experience of managing interfaces with Bid Management and Project Management functions as well as focus on modern Leadership

• Strategic orientation with a detailed knowledge on power plant components and on services and markets of the Power Solution business

• Leadership capabilities to lead an international Engineering team to achieve highest performance results and coaching of team members

• Customer focus with capability of changing perspectives and adapting strategies and actions to the dynamic environment

• Intercultural sensitivity, fluent in English language, knowledge of German and/or Spanish languages would be beneficial

• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in Germany or United States

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
