Position Overview
The Lean Project Manager will collaborate with Resource Managers in Major Projects (Heavy Lift and Specialists) and their teams to implement Lean workflows for field scopes.
Location is flexible, but preference will be given to candidates who can work in office locations (Orlando, FL and Plano, TX are primary locations; other office locations will be considered). Current expectation is 3 days a week in the office, but can change based on business needs
Relocation will not be offered for this role
Responsibilities
As the Regional Lead for Major Projects you will serve as the primary Point of Contact with our Global Lean team. Utilize their support to drive implementation of established Lean workflows, and create workflows for new scopes.
Collaborate with Resource Managers within Major Projects to establish priority and schedules for Lean workflow implementation workshops and field sessions. Coordinate logistics as needed to have the workshops and field trainings.
Work with our Regional and Global training teams to establish a Leak workflow certification for our field personnel to acknowledge their expertise and serve as development opportunities for our field personnel.
Create, maintain, and present tactical plans, schedules, and work in progress updates to Global and Regional stakeholders.
Support the Management team with process and continuous improvement projects when needed.
Obtain and maintain all compliance and technical certifications required to safely access wind turbines down tower and up-tower.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the Major Projects team.

Required Knowledge, Education, Experience and Skills
Minimum experience required is 5 years
Associate degree (relevant work experience can be substituted).
This position will require up to 50% travel to field project locations and back office business workshops needed to carry out the duties and responsibilities of this role.
