Shift : Hybrid. 1-2 days per week on-site

· Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,368-bed AdventHealth Orlando

· serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America

· AdventHealth Orlando houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and largest cardiac catheterization labs in the country

· We are already one of the busiest hospitals in the nation, providing service excellence to more than 32,000 inpatients and 125,000 outpatients each year

The role you’ll contribute:

The Business Operations Program Manager works closely with the Executive Director to develop department budgets based on data and gathers all information necessary to justify and gain executive approvals. Creates reports and dashboards using spreadsheet analytics; collaborates with financial analyst to provide necessary data for AH reporting; collaborates with department end-users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data collection and reporting. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Strategic Planning

· Oversees the strategic development and implementation of quality measures to ensure that services are safe, cost effective, and aligned with evidence-based best practices.

· Develops department budget based on data and gathers all information necessary to justify and gain Executive Director and executive approvals

· Actively participates in the strategic planning for the department, including prioritization of initiates, capital equipment planning and communication models.

· Completes projects and produces materials within established or adjusted budget and time parameters

· Remains current with industry trends and other areas of related responsibility.

Analytics

· Proactively uses data analysis techniques to track, monitor and communicate the operational, clinical quality, and financial outcomes of assigned areas and to benchmark performance against internal targets and against local and national practices.

· Provides verbal and written communication/documentation essential to projects and process improvement.

· Analyzes and presents collected data to management, other departments, and external stakeholders.

· May create presentation for management to showcase progression of goals, landmarks, and other opportunities.

· Creates reports and dashboards utilizing spreadsheet analytics, or through other associated programs.

· Collaborates with department end-users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data collection and reporting.

· Responsible for creation and maintenance of scorecards and dashboards.

· Collects data from internal and external sources to support the development and coordination of various products and services.

· Improve and streamline data collection to ensure data quality and accuracy.

· Collaborates with financial analyst to provide necessary data for AH reporting.

Communication

· Prepares reports and correspondence in an accurate, neat, and timely manner.

· Reports progress to NS Executive Director.

· Presents results to stakeholders to drive performance.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

· Strong organization skills

· Analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to analyze data and identify trends

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to work in a matrix-management environment to achieve organizational goals

· Creative, innovative, and receptive to change

· Proficient in Windows Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

· Financial and statistical analysis skills essential to job duties

· Skilled or experience in report writing

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

· Bachelor’s degree in food service management, accounting, business, hospitality, or related field OR Four (4) years of related experience.

· Six (6) years of related experienc
