As a Program Manager within the F35 Training Systems Development and Modernization Portfolio, you will be tasked with leading development programs to ensure the success of our projects.

THE WORK

Cost, Schedule, and Technical Performance Management

You will oversee and ensure adherence to cost, schedule, and technical performance metrics within your program. This involves meticulous planning, monitoring, and adjustment to meet program objectives.

Day-to-Day Program Execution: Leading the successful day-to-day execution of all programmatic functions is central to this role. You will coordinate efforts across various teams to ensure smooth progress and timely delivery.

Primary Interface

Acting as the primary interface to both LM-Aeronautics and Government customers, you will represent the program in all matters related to execution. Effective communication and relationship management are essential for success in this aspect.

Staffing Demand Management

You will be responsible for managing staffing demand within the program, ensuring the right resources are allocated appropriately to meet project requirements.

Risk and Opportunity Management

Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks while capitalizing on opportunities are crucial for program success. You will lead risk management efforts to ensure project objectives are achieved.

Process Improvement Initiatives

Driving continuous improvement, you will initiate and oversee process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing program efficiency and effectiveness.

Utilization of Data-Driven Tools

Leveraging data-driven tools, you will ensure affordability and cost reductions are integrated into program strategies. Analyzing data and implementing insights will be key to achieving these objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience working within matrix organizations when executing and proposing programs

• Experience in EVMS, negotiations, and performance metrics.

• Demonstrated Strong Communication and Presentation Skills

• Willingness and ability to travel (both domestic and international) as required.

• Must have at a minimum an active Secret Clearance with a completed investigation within the last 5 years with ability to obtain Secret SAR clearances

Desired Skills:

• Possess strong working knowledge of Training & Logistics services

• Development Program experience

• Development engineering background (systems, Software, I&T ideally)

• Program Management experience with DevSecOps and Agile development

• Knowledge of F-35 Program including knowledge of fifth generation

• Experience working directly with customers

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
