Position Summary: MILVETS is currently seeking a part-time Recruiter/Travel Coordinator.  This role is crucial in effectively executing our hiring strategy, taking charge of sourcing, screening, and hiring technical specialists to fulfill IT services and support roles and who will also be responsible to make travel arrangements for individuals and, groups including scheduling flights and ground transportation, booking accommodations, and handling any other trip-related tasks.  The ideal incumbent will be motivated and driven by a sense of urgency and will follow through on a wide variety of talent acquisition assignments and travel events.

What’s the role?  As a MILVETS Recruiter/Travel Coordinator, you will work collaboratively with our team to oversee the technical recruiting process.  This involves a comprehensive range of responsibilities, starting from meticulously editing and formatting job descriptions to posting and finalizing job openings.  You will be actively involved in sourcing, reviewing resumes/profiles and screening potential candidates utilizing various methods of communication, such as making cold calls, texting, and emailing to identify the best candidate for our organization.  You will be responsible for coordinating interviews, extending offers and maintaining regular communication with management and with candidates, ensuring that applicants are well informed about the progress of their application.  Your dedication to providing a positive candidate experience will greatly contribute to our overall recruitment success.  You will research and compare prices, availability, and quality of travel options such as flights, hotels, and car rentals to secure the best rates and accommodations.  You will play a crucial role in executing our hiring and travel arrangement strategy. Corporate Travel Coordinator Job Description

As a Corporate Travel Coordinator, you will be responsible for organizing and coordinating all aspects of corporate travel arrangements for employees within our organization. Your role will involve ensuring that all travel arrangements are made efficiently, cost-effectively, and in accordance with company policies and procedures. You will work closely with employees, travel agencies, and vendors to ensure a smooth and hassle-free travel experience for our staff.

Corporate Travel Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and book travel arrangements for employees, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and other necessary arrangements.

  • Research and compare prices, availability, and quality of travel options such as flights, hotels, and car rentals to secure the best rates and accommodations.

  • Negotiate with vendors and travel agencies to obtain the most favorable terms and conditions for corporate travel bookings.

  • Advise employees on travel policies, visa requirements, and any necessary documentation needed for their travel.

  • Prepare and distribute travel itineraries, including all relevant details such as flight information, hotel reservations, car rentals, and meeting schedules.

  • Ensure all travel arrangements are accurate, complete, and aligned with the traveler’s preferences and requirements.

  • Manage and track travel expenses, including reconciling invoices, receipts, and credit card statements to ensure compliance with company policies and budgetary constraints.

  • Assist employees in resolving any travel-related issues or emergencies, including flight cancellations, missed connections, lost luggage, etc.

  • Keep abreast of industry trends, travel regulations, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the travel management process.

  • Maintain and update a database of employee travel profiles, including preferences, frequent flyer accounts, passport details, and other relevant information.

    Corporate Travel Coordinator Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field.

  • Proven work experience as a Travel Coordinator, Travel Agent, or a similar role in corporate travel management.

  • Extensive knowledge of travel booking systems, online travel portals, and travel management tools.

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.

  • Familiarity with budgeting and expense management processes.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Strong customer service orientation.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing travel arrangements and schedules.

  • Fluency in written and spoken English, with additional language skills being an advantage.

    Corporate Recruiter Job Description

    The Corporate Recruiter sources potential candidates for multiple job openings at multiple MILVETS locations, primarily within IT labor categories, at varying skill levels and diverse skill sets, for existing contracts and proposals (most positions require candidates to possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance or higher).

    Corporate Recruiter Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR manager and hiring management to identify staffing needs.

  • Manage full cycle recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals across all levels.

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in a multi-site organization.

  • Assist in creating and implementing Employment Marketing Strategies to attract passive job seekers.

  • Work with hiring managers and interview teams to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria.

  • Work closely with Hiring Managers to maximize effectiveness of recruiting process.

  • Track and report key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity.

  • Regular follow up with the respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process.

  • Develop strong relationships and partner with hiring manager, business leaders and HR.

  • Actively participate in all staffing related activities in cross functional projects.

  • Draft/revise job descriptions.

  • Utilize ATS – manage data, create and post/maintain job listings, process applicants.

  • Actively source resumes/potential candidates for existing contracts as well as for proposals/business development opportunities via various paid and free databases on-line.

  • Make initial contact via phone call, text/e-mail, and screen, recommend and follow-up with candidates.

  • Develop and execute a personal time management plan.

  • Other recruitingrelated duties as assigned.

    Corporate Recruiter Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, or human resources degree, or equivalent experience.

  • Proven IT recruiting experience, with a focus on various small business professional services, and federal government contractor roles.

  • Experience with recruitment/sourcing/tracking techniques and software platforms/tools.

  • Social media recruiting experience preferred.

  • Strong understanding of technical skills and requirements of various fields.

  • Experience recruiting for candidates with secret to high-level government clearances.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication/interpersonal skills, decision making, with superior follow-up and rapport building skills.

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Detail oriented.

  • Ability to work on-site at the MILVETS, Orlando Corporate office 5 days a week.

  • DOD (Department of Defense) / Government Contracting Experience is a plus.

    Successful candidates will possess the ability to execute highly detailed and precise work under tight deadlines.
