Responsibilities will be:

  • Plan geomembrane cover and liner works projects, mechanical installations, maintenance services and repairs, upgrades/improvements, and other similar tasks the operations team carries out

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records.

  • Plan and organize multiple trips with multiple stops and will lead a fabrication and installation crew.

  • Process Design and Improvement• Implement efficient manufacturing processes• Identify and eliminate potential production bottlenecks• Continuously improve current manufacturing processesEquipment Management• Select and recommend appropriate equipment for manufacturing processes• Oversee installation and commissioning of new equipment• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issuesQuality Assurance• Develop and implement quality control plans

  • Stay informed on new technologies and processes to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

  • Some travel may be required

Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required

  • College Technology Degree or Engineering Degree is preferred but not required.

  • Construction background or engineering background is ideal.

  • 1-2 years of technical experience

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Able to lift 50 pounds.

  • Highly organized and self-motivated

  • Strong problem solving, quality assurance and interpersonal skills, with a strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and process optimization.

  • Aptitude for troubleshooting production issues and implementing corrective actions.

  • Operating various types of basic hand tools and plastic fusion welding equipment, With a knowledge of materials selection, machining, and assembly techniques.

  • Ability to work independently, as well as with a team.

  • Perform other duties at the direction of your supervisor or manager.

  • Industry related safety courses and tickets would be an asset.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract required.

  • Potential Travel to Projects Site

  • Opportunity for Travel that could be up to 50%, within the US, Canada and abroad. If abroad, travel stay could be up to 6 weeks.
