関西リージョンには複数のデーターセンターが点在しており、その中でも 東側エリア (奈良) を主にご担当いただく予定です。しかしながら、関西リージョン全体をサポートするチームであるため、状況に応じて、関西リージョン内の 他のエリアのサポート をしていただく日もあります。
Microsoft operates data centers around the world, and strives to earn the trust of over one billion customers every day by managing more than 200 data centers and over one million servers. The Data Center Logistics team in Microsoft Japan is looking for a Datacenter Inventory and Asset Technician (DIAT) who can work collaboratively within a team to provide the best in class service to our customers.
As a DIAT, you will perform on-site operations with safety as your top priority, ensuring our Microsoft data centers can provide cloud services without interruption. We are seeking candidates who value teamwork , take on challenges with a positive mindset , think proactively about their own growth, and have the willingness to improve their site every day in a multicultural environment.
There are multiple data centers scattered throughout the Kansai region, and you are expected to be primarily responsible for the Eastern area (Nara) area. However, since the entire team supports the Kansai region, depending on the situation, there may be days when you need to support other areas within the Kansai region.

Receiving, unpacking, staging, packing, and shipping of server-related equipment (more than 50% of this role involves such physical work).
Inventory and asset management.
Supervising the delivery of server racks.
Destroying large quantities of data bearing devices (e.g., HDD, SSD).
Arranging delivery schedules of server racks and server-related equipment.
Other logistics-related daily tasks.
Improvement activities for site safety, security, and work efficiency.
Compliance with all safety and security rules.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

基本的なパソコンの操作スキル (Outlook/Word/Excel/SharePoint等)
複数時間の立ち作業やフィジカル作業が可能
関西リージョン内に点在する複数データーセンターでの勤務
優れたコミュニケーション力・チームワーク
高等学校卒業、またはそれに相当するもの
Business level Japanese and English (reading, writing, listening, speaking).
Basic computer skills (e.g., Outlook/Word/Excel/SharePoint).
Able to perform multiple hours of standing work and physical labor.
Able to flexibly dispatch to multiple data centers across the region.
Excellent communication skills and teamwork.
High school graduation or equivalent.

Background Check Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
