In this position you lead initiatives for product launches in our software and services division. Success in this role requires someone who is centered around product and engineering excellence with a bias for action; thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; successfully partners with a wide group of people at multiple levels of the company; and embodies our practices for leading diverse teams.

You will own delivery of multiyear features, define project goals and roadmaps, identify opportunities that positively impact your feature area. Ideal candidates will have experience delivering cross-functional program management and leading teams to success. You will engage with complex engineering programs, lead in a principled way, build healthy partnerships and have excellent interpersonal and communications skills.

The primary responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Owns ensuring delivery of features with mid-term to multi-year time horizons, including managing the schedule and backlog.

  • Defines project goals and builds a delivery roadmap across future milestones, including staging technologies; builds strategies that optimizes project resources against priorities.

  • Defines and monitors Technical Success Metrics [including KPIs].

  • Converts customer requirements into actionable software specifications for multiple functional teams; Identifies opportunities and gaps to improve.

  • Defines data sets needed, analyzes and frames decisions that have impact to feature area.

  • Brings cross functional teams together and collaboratively manages relationships to create holistic, customer centric solutions, identify technical interdependencies and deliver on the roadmap.

  • Drives outstanding technical issues to closure. Anticipates, defines and develops mitigations for program risks. Leads escalations. Owns DCRs.

  • Leads status reporting that spans multiple features and time horizons.

  • Serve as a technical advisor to educate and evangelize feature areas; proactively helps teams understand the technical implications of design decisions and specific features.

  • Owns retrospectives/Kaisen methods for ensuring continuous improvement.

Minimum requirements we seek:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in direct product/technical program management in complex systems or equivalent experience.

  • 4+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

Our Preferred Requirements:

  • Demonstrated technical experience

  • Advanced knowledge of the software development life cycle, specifically as it applies to building products.

  • Demonstrated success delivering cross functional work streams and driving results across multiple teams.

  • Excellent ability to communicate, influence, and resolve conflict effectively at multiple levels, including leadership.

  • Demonstrated success building partnerships across a diverse set of functions and stakeholders.

  • Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills working with disparate data sources to create a comprehensive view and recommendations.

  • Experience estimating effort and sizing of work for successful delivery of multiple features.
