Kelly Services Manufacturing Operator in Owatonna, Minnesota

Join the Kelly® team as a Machine Operator at a leading food manufacturing company in Owatonna, MN.

1st shift: 6:00 am to 4:30 pm Mon-Thurs, $18.00 per hour

2nd shift: 4:00 pm to 2:30 am Mon-Thurs, $19.00 per hour

Weekly pay, temp to hire in 90 days or less, benefits available!

What’s a typical day as a Machine Operator?:

• Operate various machines to produce food products

• Record materials and machine operation functions/readings and finished goods.

• Adjust machine settings to manufacture products to quality specifications.

• Identify when machine functions are not operating properly.

• Assemble and disassemble machine parts.

• Clean machines and support equipment.

• Weigh, read, identify and load raw materials.

• Disassemble, clean, and re-assemble parts.

• Operate a forklift to transfer finished product (training provided)

• Clean of work areas.

• Remove garbage, cardboard, and other refuse created during production.

• Operate the cardboard/plastic baler for recycling.

• Clean and organize of production supply storage areas.

• Stocking production supplies.

• Transfer finished product within the production and WIP areas.

• Stock pallets, package supplies, and other consumable production supplies to their proper storage areas.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma or GED (preferred)

• Have food processing, warehouse, manufacturing, production, factory or machine operation experience

• Can lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds (with assistance).

• Previous forklift experience (preferred) and possess ability to pass written test for certification of fork truck operation.

• Have basic computer skills
