Summary:
Olin Winchester, LLC ("Winchester"), considered one of the world's leading ammunition manufacturers,â?¯is seeking Production Machine Adjusters for 2nd and 3rd shifts. This position will be located at the Oxford, Mississippi facility. Adjuster II's start at $20.35 per hour with an increase to $23.30 per hour after completion of 90 days and successful evaluations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Operate multiple machines simultaneously. Transport raw material from storage area to production areas via means of forklift or other production type transportation devices. Use hand tools to make mechanical adjustments and repairs on production machinery. Use calipers, micrometers, and other quality measuring devices to measure and record production part outer diameter (OD) length including visual inspection of material utilizing computerized equipment. Clean out and clear machine jams on hoppers. Complete machine change-over and set-ups utilizing quality specifications for various products including changing dies and related parts as needed. Troubleshoot and repair production equipment. Champion Lean Manufacturing concepts to ensure that quality meets the customers standards and satisfaction.

: Must be 18 years of age or older. Ability to pass a physical, drug screen and background check if job offer is received and accepted. Ability to pass a functional physical testing and be able to use standard safety equipment and wear all required personal protective equipment (in extreme hot/cold environments) Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
